Biography

Born in San Francisco, JERRY CHAN holds a degree in computer science from Princeton University and an MFA in film production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. While at USC, he was awarded the Harold Lloyd Production Scholarship as well as the John Frankenheimer Directing Scholarship for his outstanding work as a filmmaker. In 2007, he was a directing fellow with Film Independent's Project:Involve, where writer-director Zach Helm (Stranger Than Fiction, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium) was his mentor. Jerry continues creating innovative short films, like DJ:LA (djlafilm.com), while developing a number of feature film projects for the future. He is a partner at Ringleader Productions, a commercial, music video, and new media production company that has over 20 years of combined experience in craft services.
