Jackie Stone began her career in the arts in creative writing and theater, but soon gravitated quickly to the visual medium of film. She is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and has directed three films: a documentary, Anniversary; an award-winning short, The Dying Color and If I Leap, music videos, and several spec commercials.
Jackie has won numerous honors and awards for her short films including: the Vague, Warner Brother’s and Kodak Production Awards, grants from the Jerome Foundation. Her scripts have also garnered attention and awards including: semi-finalist for the Showtime Visions from Ground Zero Fund for “Kite”, a Jerome Foundation award winner, and she has been a finalist for both the Sundance Screenwriting Institute for “The Last Suicide” and the Nickelodeon Screenwriting for a television spec script. She was an AICP finalist for her spec commercial work.
Jackie is currently in development on several projects.
