You Are Not Currently Logged In
If you are a CFAN member and are looking for the CFAN 411, job postings, specific event announcements or signups, you must log in to access these features.
The intended purpose of this program is to create a gateway between film school and the Industry through the guidance of the Caucus Foundation.
Program process:
- TV/Feature script submissions from CFAN members will be accepted from January 22nd 2009 thru March 10th 2010. Scripts must be far along in their development. The submissions must have been read and evaluated by an industry professional.
- CFAN Board will approve up to three selected scripts. Notifications will be made in April 2010.
- Three Caucus Foundation Members will agree to read the selected scripts and give feedback and notes. Notes will be given out in June 2010.
- The participating screenplay writers will then take those notes and a re-write that should be completed in August 2010.
- The participating Foundation Members will read the re-write and give one last round of notes. Notes will be given in September 2010.
- At this point, the scripts will be presented to Chuck Fries for his recommendation on producers for these specific stories, if any are appropriate.
Only scripts that have undergone extensive development will be considered.
A cover page must accompany the script detailing the course of its development. (This may be in the form of adequately filling out the submission form, including the "Process" field.)
Please do not submit first drafts or scripts that have not been reviewed by industry professionals.
Only one script submission per writer will be allowed.
A $10 submission fee will go towards CFAN expenses, and will not be used to pay any board members for their services.
