Discussed

• Alberto reported on the very exciting new program he and John McCoy will run. It will be called the CFAN Script Development Program. It will connect member screenwriters with Caucus Foundation members for notes and development. Next steps: have program approved by The Caucus, Alberto & John to write up summary & have approved by the CFAN board.

• Dinners for Five. Our next Dinner for Five will take place on Monday, October 26 at 7pm with television producer Robert Papazian (“Rome”, “Nash Bridges”, “Heart to Heart”). Sign up will be made available online in the next day or two. Please note: Mr. Papazian is unable to host us in his home for this event so we will meet in a private room in a restaurant and members will have to pay for their meals.

• Website. All members have had accounts created for them. Design work will continue on the website.

• CFAN on Facebook & twitter. We are now represented on both sites. Please sign up to receive updates through those sites.

• CFAN Banner. It was decided that our organization could use a banner to be displayed at our events. Rain researched possibilities and it was determined that the banner will be paid for through voluntary donations and a very small fee that will be added to the Script Development submission application.

• Film Independent Membership offer. CFAN members have met the minimum requirement for this offer. Twelve of our members took advantage of the $80/year discounted membership that we secured with Film Independent.

• Board meeting schedule. Our next board meeting will be held on Sunday, November 8th at 5pm, location tbd.
