With our "Dinners for Five" series, a leading film/television industry professional hosts five of our members for dinner to share her/his valuable experience.
To ensure the success of this event and future "Dinners for Five," members must abide by the following rules:
- No scripts, no pitches, no business cards, no exceptions! This is not an event to make ourselves remembered by the mentor, but to learn from that person's experience.
- Priority is given to members who have not attended previous Dinners for Five. Even if you RSVP before someone else, if you have attended a dinner and that person has not, that person will have priority. (The only exception is if you were specifically invited by the organizer to fill in for someone who dropped out of a previous dinner.)
- Members that commit and then do not attend will NOT be permitted to attend future Dinners for Five. If a member must withdraw at the last minute, the organizer will try to fill this slot, and additional board members will be eligible to attend.
- Members in attendance must contribute money toward a thank-you gift and sign a thank-you card to be sent by the organizer.
- Anything heard at the dinner must be considered confidential.
